Strategic-focused Chief Audit Executive (CAE) with a proven track record of adding value to companies in regards to internal audit, enterprise risk management, corporate governance, Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), and other compliance initiatives. Working in both the role of an in-house CAE, as well as a professional services consultant, Stephen has served as a leader in internal audit, governance, risk, and compliance activities, such as internal audit department start-up and development, hiring and training staff, and leading strategic, operational, information technology, cybersecurity, financial & compliance audits.
